noon - Mr. & Mrs. L. Petersime treated the "unattached" ladies to lunch at Oscar's Place in Summerville.
15  -  The congregation exchanged candies and valentines before the morning worship service.
"Valentine" dinner following the morning worship service - in the Fellowship Hall.
16  -  President's Day
21  -  The youth will be having a yard sale and are accepting any donations. All items will be priced 50 cents.
They will also be serving lunch - soup,sandwiches, salad - $3.00 for tickets. See the Secretary.
22  -  Called Board of Stewards meeting. Everyone is asked to please attend.

25  -  Ash Wednesday
Southern Methodist Day of Prayer
29  -  "Youth Sunday" - the youth will be in charge of our service.
Theme "Bible Ringy Dingy". A skit in which various people from the Bible (Mary, a sheperd, etc.) receive a phone "call" from an angel asking them to serve the Lord and their responses to the "call."
Our youth did an excellent job.

27  -  Flea Market sale and fundraiser at the West Ashley Southern Methodist Church. A BBQ lunch will be available for $6.00 a plate. All proceeds will go to our missionaries, the Cox family.
